About the Role

We are seeking a skilled .NET Core Backend Consultant to design, develop, and maintain secure intranet-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend systems using Microsoft technologies and will work closely with internal teams to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Build and support intranet web applications used within the organization
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend logic
• Integrate applications with databases, authentication systems, and internal tools
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with frontend developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders
• Document system architecture, code, and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Proven experience developing enterprise or intranet applications
• Proficiency with SQL Server or other relational databases
• Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication (e.g., JWT, Active Directory), and security best practices
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as a consultant and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Angular, or similar)
• Experience working in enterprise or corporate IT environments
