About National Institute for Development and Research (NIDR)

National Institute for Development and Research Private Limited was established in 2012 as an officially registered at the Company Registrar’s Office in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. The Institute focuses mainly on baseline/endline survey, Impact study, Rapid Assessment, educational, social and health research, monitoring and evaluation, social marketing and awareness on health related products, trainings on different areas ranging from NGO management, agriculture, education, health, tourism, vocational training, culture, socio economic, and environment to disaster prevention and many more areas of topical importance.

This institute is led by a team of enegetic and dedicated professionals who are expert in different areas of development and experience of worinking in UN, I/NGO/ and government body. The overarching objective of this Institute is to share development and research experiences by addressing and the gaps that exist in the system. It also aims to provide necessary skills to the youths who aspire to work in the development sector. The Institute also purposes to workout innovative ways of ensuring result based achievement of development.
