Mechanical Engineer Technician

Job Description:

• We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Engineer or Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, or servicing of generators and should be comfortable working in the field as well as in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repair of generators.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot effectively to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance on generator systems.
• Maintain proper records of service and maintenance work.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site support and maintenance.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and used safely.
• Coordinate with the technical team for inventory and spare parts requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in generator-related work (installation, maintenance, or service).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with brands such as Kirloskar, Cummins, Mahindra, etc.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems associated with generators.
• Ability to handle emergency breakdowns and resolve issues independently.
