Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. General Accounting Duties:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, tax filings, and financial reporting.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Review and analyse delivery-related expense statements from delivery companies.

  • Identify and report on missing payments for deliveries or discrepancies in amounts collected by delivery companies.

  • Design and implement formats/templates to highlight issues in expense statements efficiently.

  • Collaborate with the operations team to investigate and resolve financial inconsistencies.

  • Evaluate current accounting procedures and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Suggest strategies to minimize errors in financial and operational workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 2+ years in accounting, preferably in sales or logistics. Familiarity with delivery company work

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and advanced Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them effectively.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate effectively.

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
