Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the QA efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute test strategies, and automate testing processes. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies for software applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement QA best practices and processes.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications to identify defects, issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Manage and execute regression testing, integration testing, performance testing, and security testing.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests and ensure continuous quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports and feedback to development teams.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
• Work closely with product management and development teams to understand requirements, plan testing activities, and ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.
• Identify areas for improvement in the QA process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong background in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing, with familiarity in tools like JMeter and Burp Suite.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
