Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and allocate resources effectively to manage safety risks and security threats associated with aircraft operations.

  • Ensure all flight operations are conducted in full compliance with the Airline Operator Certificate (AOC), regulatory requirements, and Himalaya Airlines’ policies and standards—either directly or through delegated authority.

  • Manage operational facilities to optimize cost-efficiency, infrastructure effectiveness, and overall support systems.

  • Develop and monitor financial plans and budgets for the Operations Division, ensuring cost control and alignment with corporate goals.

  • Ensure all departments are adequately staffed with qualified personnel to meet legal, safety, and operational requirements.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the airline industry.

  • Holder of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

  • At least 5 years of experience as Pilot-in-Command on Airbus A320 aircraft.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a senior management role within a scheduled passenger airline operating aircraft over 50 tonnes, within the last 6 years.
